The coACTION project promotes democratic culture and active participation in primary schools across Europe.

It develops processes and methodologies to introduce democratic practices that engage the entire school community, including school leaders, teachers, students, and parents.

The project supports schools in implementing democratic measures as part of their educational and organisational practices, thus enabling learners to build key competences for active citizenship and lifelong learning.

coACTION delivers practical tools such as the coACTION Sensor for assessing democratic school culture and the Democratic Empowerment Platform, an interactive space with guidance and resources to support sustainable democratic engagement in school settings.
